On May 3, at An Giang Samho Co., Ltd. (Binh Hoa Industrial Park, Binh Hoa commune, An Giang province) - the largest labor enterprise in the province with over 11,000 workers, the grassroots trade union (CĐCS) coordinated with the Company's Board of Directors to organize the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Vo Thanh Nha - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union emphasized the central role of workers in the sustainable development of the enterprise; and called on all workers to continue to raise labor safety awareness, build a disciplined, safe and united working environment. The message "Safety for production - Production must be safe" continues to spread strongly among all workers.
At the ceremony, Mr. To Minh Lam - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee also acknowledged the efforts of the Company's grassroots trade union in caring for the material and spiritual life of employees. At the same time, he proposed to continue to innovate Trade Union activities, associated with the task of ensuring labor safety and hygiene and improving the quality of the workers' movement in the new period.
Representing the Board of Directors, Mr. Jeong Incheol (Binh Minh) affirmed that the enterprise always identifies employees as the most valuable asset, committing to continue to improve working conditions, strengthen safety training, ensure full protection equipment and welfare regimes. At the same time, calling on all workers to proactively prevent risks, comply with production processes, and jointly build a safe, stable and sustainable working environment.
Responding to the launching ceremony, company employees also expressed their determination to emulate good labor, creative labor, improve skills, strictly comply with regulations on labor safety and hygiene, contributing to successfully completing the production and business tasks of the enterprise.
At the launching ceremony, the grassroots trade union presented 20 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND (including gifts and cash). At the same time, the amount of 18 million VND donated from the collective of officials and employees was directly presented to union members in particularly difficult circumstances, showing the spirit of sharing and solidarity in the Samho family.
Binh Hoa Commune Police also presented 3 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, each gift including 200,000 VND in gifts and 500,000 VND in cash, contributing to encouraging and supporting workers to overcome difficulties in life.
Immediately after the ceremony, more than 300 workers enthusiastically participated in the An Giang Samho Marathon 2026 with a distance of 3 km. This is a meaningful sports activity within the series of Workers' Month events, attracting a large number of workers to participate in a joyful and exciting atmosphere.
In particular, all athletes who complete the distance will receive a complete medal, a voucher of 50,000 VND and many souvenirs from the Organizing Committee. The activity not only contributes to improving physical health, but also creates a healthy playground, strengthening the spirit of solidarity and cohesion between departments in the business.
On this occasion, the grassroots trade union also commended typical collectives and individuals in occupational safety and health and food safety in 2025, thereby spreading positive examples throughout the company.
