Ms. Tran Thi Loan (34 years old) - a union official at the company said that the Executive Board of the Union has coordinated with the company to launch the "Summer Heat Relief" program since June 9 to soothe the heat for workers at work.
According to Ms. Loan, having cool black bean sweet soup after lunch is the desire of workers. This policy will be implemented by the company and the Factory Trade Union every Tuesday and Friday afternoon, which is very meaningful and practical.
"Each portion of sweet soup not only helps to relieve the heat but is also a meaningful spiritual gift, in the name of thanks, showing the company's concern and care for all employees in the company" - Ms. Loan said.

The female union official said that in the coming time, if the weather is still hot and dry, the union and the company will coordinate to cook the lemon juice to cool down like last year to ensure the health of workers at work.
Mr. Nguyen Van Quan (27 years old) - a worker at the company shared that the value of each portion of sweet soup with more than 1,000 workers is not small. This further proves that the company pays special attention to employees during the working process.
With more than 1,000 workers, everyone is happy. In the afternoon, we work enthusiastically, productively and are much less tired when we have a cup of tea from the company - Mr. Quan said.
To relieve the heat for workers in the hot summer, Tuan Duyen Garment Company Limited has equipped air conditioners and ceiling fans, ventilation fans, and cold water plants to operate continuously throughout the working time.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan (37 years old) - the business owner shared that he used to be a worker, so he understands the hardship of working in hot summer weather.
Installing air conditioners not only helps workers feel comfortable but also ensures effective work productivity and avoids unexpected incidents.
Ms. Pham Thi Hong (30 years old) - a garment worker working at the company said that she feels much more secure when working in a conditioned environment.
"With conditioning, even though you work with your hands and feet, you don't sweat much, so your body doesn't lose strength or itch when the dust from the fabric sticks to it. Goods are still guaranteed to be delivered as planned, returning home is not too tiring" - Ms. Hong said.
Sharing more, Ms. Hong said that the company regulates turning on air conditioners from 9am to 5pm, and still turning on at noon to let workers rest. This makes her and other workers feel quite comfortable, ensuring stable health throughout the day.
