On the morning of May 9, at the Da Nang City Political School, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized a meeting and dialogue between the National Assembly Delegation, the Chairman of the City People's Committee and trade union members and workers in 2026.
Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, National Assembly Deputy, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; leaders of the National Assembly Delegation of Da Nang City, City People's Committee, departments and agencies.

More than 300 union members and workers, representing more than 220,000 union members in 1,776 grassroots trade unions in the area, directly raised recommendations related to social housing, workers' boarding houses, employment, wages, social insurance, transportation, health, education, markets and supermarkets serving workers in industrial parks.
Based on the opinions of employees, Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung directed the answering and explanation of departments and branches.

The message emphasized by the Chairman of the City People's Committee is that functional agencies must answer briefly, clearly, and correctly the contents that workers are concerned about. For issues under their authority, there needs to be specific handling directions; for contents beyond their authority or requiring more research time, there must be commitments and a roadmap for resolution, so as not to leave workers' petitions open.
The groups of contents that the city focuses on answering include: housing, cultural institutions, transport infrastructure; employment, policies, salaries, social insurance, vocational training; security and order in the area, businesses; rent, electricity and water prices; health care, food safety; schools, pick-up hours for workers; stable markets and supermarkets serving workers near industrial parks.

The overarching spirit of the conference is to listen to resolve. The feedback from workers is not only recorded in the hall but also serves as a basis for the city government, departments, and sectors to review policies and improve solutions to care for workers' lives in the coming time.
Speaking at the conference, Da Nang city leaders affirmed that workers and laborers are an important force contributing to Da Nang's development. Therefore, taking care of housing, jobs, material and spiritual life and protecting the legitimate rights of workers is the responsibility of the entire political system, government, Trade Union organization and business community.

On this occasion, the Da Nang City Labor Federation presented 100 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 1.3 million VND. Of which, 40 gifts were presented directly at the conference, and the remaining 60 gifts will be presented at the grassroots level.

Also at the program, 10 "Trade Union Homes" were awarded to union members with housing difficulties, with a total budget of 800 million VND. Among them, there are 4 newly built houses, each case supported with 80 million VND; 6 repaired houses, each case supported with 40 million VND.
