On September 8, at Material Fab Co., Ltd., the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized a conference to announce the decision to establish a grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) and admit Trade Union members.
At the conference, representatives of the Da Nang City Labor Federation announced the decision to establish the grassroots trade union of Material Fab Co., Ltd., and at the same time awarded decisions to admit 21 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
These are workers who are working at enterprises, voluntarily joining the Trade Union organization with the desire to participate in collective activities, being represented, cared for and protected by the Trade Union's legitimate and lawful rights and interests in the working process.
Speaking at the conference, representatives of the City Labor Federation congratulated the grassroots trade union of Material Fab Co., Ltd. for officially being established and 21 workers becoming union members.
At the same time, it is proposed that the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union quickly develop operating regulations and assign specific tasks to each member. Proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers; coordinate with employers to organize activities to care for workers' lives and build harmonious labor relations at enterprises.
On the same day, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized propaganda and mobilization to establish grassroots trade unions at KP Eurospace Vietnam Co., Ltd., with the participation of nearly 200 workers working at the enterprise.
The content of propaganda focuses on introducing the position, role, functions, and tasks of the Trade Union organization; the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of employees when participating in the Trade Union, thereby raising awareness and creating consensus among employees regarding joining the Trade Union organization.
Promoting propaganda and mobilization to develop union members and establish grassroots trade unions at enterprises, especially enterprises in industrial parks, contributes to expanding the coverage of the Trade Union organization, creating conditions for more and more workers to be represented, cared for and protected in their legitimate and lawful rights and interests.
