56 businesses well implement regimes and policies
On December 30, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized the honoring and commendation of 56 enterprises with achievements in the emulation movement "Enterprises taking care of workers' lives" in 2025.
Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - Chairwoman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation said that the criteria for enterprises to be honored include: Enterprises honored are enterprises without state capital, non-public service units, with 20 or more employees, with grassroots trade unions directly under city trade union levels; established and operating under Vietnamese law.
In the two years 2024, 2025, businesses must meet the standards: ensuring jobs; taking care of the material and spiritual lives of workers, and whether the income of workers in the following year will increase compared to the previous year.
Implement well the payment of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance. Collective labor agreements have clauses that are more beneficial to workers than the law.
Effectively implement the signing of labor contracts; develop and implement salary scales, salary tables, and labor regulations in accordance with regulations.
Build and well implement the Regulations on democracy in enterprises; organize employee conferences and dialogues at the workplace annually to ensure quality and time according to regulations; prevent collective work stoppages and complaints.
Implement well the work of ensuring food safety and hygiene, labor safety and hygiene, improving working conditions for workers, protecting the environment; preventing food poisoning, fatal labor accidents, fires and explosions causing damage to people and property.
Effectively implement training, fostering, and improving skills and professional qualifications for workers.
Coordinate with the trade union to organize a good emulation movement among workers, encourage and reward workers with achievements in production labor and work.
Enterprises comply with the regulations of the State and the General Confederation on trade union finance, fully fulfill their obligations to the State; support and create favorable conditions for grassroots trade unions to operate.
The companionship and respect of the Trade Union
Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh said: the emulation movement "Businesses take good care of workers' lives" of Da Nang city in 2025 has 82 businesses responding, sending dossiers requesting consideration for honor.
The Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation has sent documents to relevant agencies requesting opinions including: Da Nang City Tax Department, Da Nang City Social Insurance, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Da Nang City Food Safety Management Board, Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks Management Board.
Through appraisal and giving opinions from the Honoring Council, the selection results showed that 56 businesses met the honoring standards.
The Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation highly appreciates the spirit of cooperation of businesses, which have accompanied the serious implementation of labor laws, creating many good models in caring for workers' lives, thereby building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations" - Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh said.
Ms. Linh hopes that this movement will continue to spread more widely in the coming year, with more businesses being honored, for a deep social responsibility and corporate culture: accompanying to ensure jobs, increase income, improve working conditions, welfare and spiritual life for workers.
Also according to Ms. Linh, honoring "Businesses that take good care of workers' lives" shows the companionship, respect and honor of the Da Nang City Trade Union organization towards businesses.
Through this, the Da Nang City Labor Federation wishes businesses to take better care of workers, create motivation for workers to actively compete in production labor, contributing to the development of businesses in particular and Da Nang city in general.
