On the afternoon of May 27, at the Da Nang City Labor Federation Hall, the Hai Chau District Labor Federation (LDLD) organized a meeting and presented support to union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Workers' Month 2025. The program is part of a series of activities in response to Workers' Month launched by the City Labor Federation and the District Labor Federation.
At the program, the Hai Chau District Labor Federation presented 300 support gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to share some of the difficulties with workers facing economic difficulties.
Ms. Truong Thi Phuong Dong, working at Binh Minh Kindergarten (Hai Chau District), was happy to receive support.
I was very surprised and moved when I received the gift from the union. This is not only material support but also a great spiritual motivation for me to overcome difficulties and try harder at work," Ms. Dong shared.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Minh Trung, Vice Chairman of the Hai Chau District Labor Federation, said: During the Workers' Month, the District Labor Federation has implemented many practical activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers such as organizing billiards sports competitions to exchange between grassroots unions, organizing legal consultations, promoting labor policies, and at the same time paying attention to supporting union members' children to overcome difficulties and study well.
Regarding the gifts given to workers, according to Mr. Trung, each gift is the heart of the trade union organization, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love", affirming the role of the Labor Federation as a solid support for workers in all circumstances.
