On August 1st, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) announced that the province has issued a plan to organize the "Together to School" program for the 2026-2027 school year. Thereby, to promptly support and encourage children of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances before the new school year.
According to the plan, the program is implemented to accompany students in difficult circumstances, overcome difficulties and rise up in their studies; thereby showing the practical concern and care of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers.
The beneficiaries of support are children of union members and workers working in economic zones, industrial parks, remote and isolated areas, and areas with difficult socio-economic conditions. The program prioritizes children in special circumstances such as orphans due to work accidents, serious illnesses, natural disasters, and epidemics.
Children are considered for support in the age range of 5-10 years old, each family not exceeding one set of books. The selection must ensure publicity, democracy, the right subjects, no duplication and be completed before the opening day of the new school year.
Notably, the Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union allocated a total of 100 English reading and learning markers to 11 commune and ward trade unions. Among them, the Trade Unions of Buon Ma Thuot, Tan An, Tuy Hoa, Tuy An Bac, Dong Hoa wards, Hoa Phu, Ea Nop, Krong Pak communes and Buon Ho ward each unit were allocated 10 slots; The Trade Unions of Ea Tul and Ea Ktur communes each unit 5 slots.
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Huyen - Standing Vice Chairwoman of Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation requested commune and ward trade unions to be responsible for reviewing and preparing dossiers for the right beneficiaries and organizing public, transparent and timely donations; and at the same time encouraging integration with trade union activities in localities and units.
Through this, the program not only provides practical support in learning tools but also contributes to adding motivation for union members' children in difficult circumstances to confidently enter the new school year.
