On the evening of September 19, the Management Board of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and the Ho Chi Minh City Workers' Support Fund to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival Night program for the children of 400 workers and laborers working in industrial parks in Ho Chi Minh City.
The program takes place at My Phuoc Theater, Ben Cat ward, Ho Chi Minh City. This is an area with a large concentration of migrant workers in Ben Cat. Surrounded by many industrial parks and factories producing export goods.
At the program, children were immersed in the joyful and warm Mid-Autumn atmosphere. Children enjoyed many cultural performances such as lion - unicorn - dragon performances, folk songs and dances, magic, and exchanges with Uncle Cuoi and Sister Hang. The program also included lighting lanterns, creating a reunion and joyful atmosphere for children.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Truong Van Phong - Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority said that Ho Chi Minh City has 58 export processing zones and industrial parks that have been operating stably, with more than 5,400 businesses, attracting about 1 million workers.
Today's program is organized specifically for children of workers and laborers working in industrial parks. The program has many special art performances. In particular, the program also presented 400 gifts to children and 20 scholarships for children in difficult circumstances who strive to study well. These are not only material gifts but also express the feelings, encouragement, and motivation of levels, sectors and the community for children.
