Proposal for Adjusting the 1/500 Master Plan
On the morning of August 7, the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project (Vietnam General Confederation of Labour) had a working session with the People's Committee of Tiền Giang Province to discuss adjusting the 1/500 master plan of the Trade Union Facility Project in Tiền Giang.
At the working session, Mr. Trịnh Quang Minh, Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project (Vietnam General Confederation of Labour), said that the proposed adjustment plan, the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project proposed investing in 4 blocks of 8-story buildings, with approximately 542 apartments, meeting the needs of around 1,789 workers. This height meets the zoning plan's height requirements and is consistent with the investment capital of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.
At the meeting, representatives of the departments and the People's Committee of Mỹ Tho City generally agreed on the adjustment of the 1/500 master plan proposed by the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project. However, some units also noted that the investor will consider the location of the parking lot design to make it as close as possible to the residents.
Explaining the above issue, Mr. Trịnh Quang Minh, Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project, said that separating the parking area from the building space brings efficiency, reduces the risk of fire and explosion for the building and environmental pollution (smoke, noise). When separating the parking area, it optimizes the ability to participate in internal traffic, ensuring safety for community activities of residents. At the same time, organizing supervision and protection contributes to reducing service costs for tenants when put into use.

At the meeting, Mr. Hoàng Khắc Tinh, Deputy Chairman of the Tiền Giang Provincial Trade Union, said that the road leading to the Trade Union Facility Project has not been invested in yet, so when the project is completed, it will affect the travel, and it is not commensurate with the infrastructure in this area. Therefore, he proposed that the departments and localities pay attention to investing in synchronous infrastructure to facilitate travel for residents in the Trade Union Facility Project in Tiền Giang.
Mr. Lê Văn Nghĩa, Head of the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project (Vietnam General Confederation of Labour), said that the road from Tiền Giang High School to the Trade Union Facility Project in Tiền Giang (Middle An Commune, Mỹ Tho City, Tiền Giang Province) will be invested by the investor. As for the main road leading to the project, he hopes that the localities will pay attention to investing in it as soon as possible when the road is completed at the same time as the Trade Union Facility Project in Tiền Giang, it will be convenient and easy to travel, and will effectively exploit the project and meet the expectations of workers.
At the conclusion of the working session, Mr. Phạm Văn Trọng, Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Tiền Giang Province, said that in the short term, the investor will invest in the temporary road from Tiền Giang High School to the Trade Union Facility Project in Tiền Giang (Middle An Commune, Mỹ Tho City, Tiền Giang Province). As for the main road, the localities will pay attention to investing in it. At the same time, the Appraisal Council of the People's Committee of Tiền Giang Province agreed with the proposal of the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project on adjusting the 1/500 master plan of the Trade Union Facility Project in Tiền Giang.
