On the morning of August 7, the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project (Vietnam General Confederation of Labour) had a working session with the People's Committee of Tiền Giang Province to adjust the 1/500 master plan of the Trade Union Facility Project in Tiền Giang.
At the working session, Mr. Trịnh Quang Minh, Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project, said that the proposed adjustment plan, the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project proposed to invest in 4 blocks of 8-story buildings, with approximately 542 apartments, meeting the needs of around 1,789 laborers. This height meets the height requirements of the zoning plan and is suitable for the financial resources of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.
Mr. Hoàng Khắc Tinh, Vice Chairman of the General Confederation of Labour of Tiền Giang Province, said that the road leading to the Trade Union Facility Project has not been invested in yet, so when the project is completed, it will affect traffic and is not commensurate with the transportation infrastructure in the area. Therefore, he requested that relevant departments and localities pay attention to investing in synchronous transportation infrastructure to facilitate the movement of residents in the Trade Union Facility Project in Tiền Giang.
At the meeting, representatives of relevant departments and the People's Committee of Mỹ Tho City generally agreed on the adjustment of the 1/500 master plan proposed by the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project. However, some units also noted that the investor will consider the location of the parking lot design to ensure it is close to residents.
Explaining the issue, Mr. Trịnh Quang Minh, Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project, said that separating the parking area from the building would bring benefits, reduce the risk of fire and explosion, and minimize environmental pollution (smoke, dust, noise). When separating the parking area, it would optimize the ability to participate in internal traffic, ensuring safety for community activities of residents. Additionally, organizing supervision and security would help reduce service costs for tenants when the project is put into use.
At the working session, Mr. Lê Văn Nghĩa, Head of the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project, said that the road from Tiền Giang High School to the Trade Union Facility Project in Tiền Giang (in Trung An Commune, Mỹ Tho City, Tiền Giang Province) would be invested in by the investor. The main road leading to the project would be invested in by the local authorities as soon as possible, so that the project can be completed at the same time as the Trade Union Facility Project in Tiền Giang, facilitating traffic and meeting the needs of laborers.
At the conclusion of the working session, Mr. Phạm Văn Trọng, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tiền Giang Province, said that in the short term, the investor would invest in a temporary road from Tiền Giang High School to the Trade Union Facility Project in Tiền Giang (in Trung An Commune, Mỹ Tho City, Tiền Giang Province). For the main road, the local authorities would pay attention to investing in it. Additionally, the appraisal committee of the People's Committee of Tiền Giang Province agreed with the proposal of the Management Board of the Trade Union Facility Project to adjust the 1/500 master plan of the Trade Union Facility Project in Tiền Giang.
