At the branch of Yazaki Hai Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Tra Ly ward, Hung Yen province (also known as Yazaki Thai Binh Company), the program to reward children of union members and workers is maintained to recognize the efforts of the children during the school year.
In the 2025 - 2026 school year, Yazaki Thai Binh Company rewarded 2,086 children who are children of union members and workers working at the company, with a total amount of more than 453 million VND.
The bonus level is divided according to each level of education and achievements, ranging from 200,000 - 2,000,000 VND/child.
Mr. Doan Van Nam - Chairman of the Trade Union of Yazaki Thai Binh Company - said that rewarding children of union members and workers is not only to commend academic achievements but also a way to encourage and motivate them to continue to strive in the following school years.
In addition, the company's trade union organized for the children to visit the workshop area where their parents worked.
Accompanying her child to receive the award at the company, Ms. Nguyen Thi Oanh, a worker who has worked for 17 years at Yazaki Thai Binh Company, could not hide her joy, Ms. Oanh shared: "My child is in 11th grade this year, achieving provincial excellent student status, so she received a bonus of 1 million VND. I have worked at the company for 17 years, most of the years she receives bonuses. I see this as a very practical care activity, both encouraging the children to try to study and helping us workers feel the company's concern for their families.
Talk show sharing with workers
Not only in Yazaki Thai Binh, activities to care for children of union members and workers have also been maintained for many years at units under the Maxport system.
At Maxport 5 Factory - Nam Dinh branch (Ninh Binh province) and Maxport 9 Factory - Thai Binh branch (Hung Yen province), awarding prizes to children of union members and workers has become an annual activity.
In the 2025 - 2026 school year, the company's trade union coordinated with the leadership to award prizes to more than 3,000 children, with a total estimated amount of about 700 million VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Maxport 9 Factory - shared that the organization of commendation for children of union members and workers has been maintained by the trade union and the company for many years.
The Chairman of the Maxport 9 Factory Trade Union affirmed that caring for union members and workers' children is one of the practical activities to build a close relationship between workers and businesses. When the efforts of children are recognized, that joy also becomes a motivation for parents to feel secure in working and sticking together for a long time.
To accompany union members and workers in caring for their children, Maxport 5 Factory and Maxport 9 Factory also organized a seminar "Discovering Together - Connecting Love". Through the seminar, many useful knowledge and skills are brought, helping parents accompany their children in their growth process.
Having worked for 8 years at Maxport 9 Factory, Ms. Duong Thi Thu Hoai has participated many times in care programs for union members and workers' children. According to her, these activities are not only practical but also help workers become more attached to the business.
Attending the seminar "Exploring Together - Connecting Love" - Ms. Hoai was impressed with the sharing about how to listen and accompany her children.
As a worker, I don't have much time for family. Through the talk show, I understand that approaching children at different ages will be different and I will try to spend more time accompanying my children" - Ms. Hoai said.
