According to the Plan, Hanoi City arranges 5 fireworks display sites including:
1. Site No. 1 in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Editorial Office;
2. Site No. 2 in front of Hanoi Post Office, also belonging to Hoan Kiem ward;
3. Site No. 3 at Dao Dua, Thong Nhat Park, Hai Ba Trung ward;
4. Site No. 4 at the F1 racetrack, National Sports Complex, Tu Liem ward;
5. Site No. 5 at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, Tay Ho ward.
Combining high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks
The battlefields will combine high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks. The total number of high-altitude fireworks is 3,700.
Including two battlefields in Hoan Kiem ward, each battlefield with 800 shells. Three battlefields in Tu Liem, Tay Ho and Hai Ba Trung wards, each battlefield with 700 shells.
For low-altitude fireworks, Hanoi City plans to use 390 platforms. Two battlefields in Hoan Kiem ward each with 60 platforms. Three battlefields in Tu Liem, Tay Ho and Hai Ba Trung wards each with 90 platforms.
The fireworks display time is 15 minutes, from 9:00 PM to 9:15 PM on September 2, 2026.
To ensure the program takes place safely, the Hanoi City People's Committee assigned the Hanoi Capital Command to preside over and coordinate with departments and branches of the city and the People's Committees of wards to ensure all aspects, transport fireworks, guns (firecrackers), equipment... to organize training and direct the Military Command Boards of wards to practice building battlefields, connecting fireworks and organizing fireworks displays according to the script and plan.
Coordinate with the City Police to closely direct patrol and guard work, maintain security and order, social safety, fire and explosion prevention, and ensure absolute safety before, during and after fireworks at the firing points.
Closely coordinate with departments and functional sectors to ensure the relevant aspects for the fireworks display task.
People's Committees of wards: Hoan Kiem, Tu Liem, Tay Ho, Hai Ba Trung implement propaganda and mobilization work, organize cultural and artistic performance activities to serve the people at fireworks display points.
Ensure the ground for gathering forces and technical means to deploy the construction of fireworks display sites; ensure environmental sanitation and lighting in the fireworks display area.
Direct and organize forces, vehicles, and materials to ensure timely emergency care when situations occur at fireworks display locations.
