On the afternoon of September 5, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held a conference to announce and present the decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc on personnel work.
Comrade Nguyen Van The - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies; Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor attended the conference.
At the ceremony, the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc announced the decision to appoint comrade Thai Thu Xuong - Member of the Party Delegation, Permanent Vice President, Head of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the 2020-2025 term.
In his speech assigning tasks, comrade Nguyen Van The - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc - requested the new Party Committee Secretary to review the action program of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the 2020-2025 term to focus on resolving outstanding and ongoing tasks, and strive to excellently complete the action program and resolutions set out.
Comrade Nguyen Van The expressed his belief that under the leadership of Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang - Party Secretary, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Comrade Thai Thu Xuong - Party Secretary, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Trade Union organization will have many innovations in its activities to become increasingly stronger, meeting the requirements in the coming time.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Thai Thu Xuong - Member of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice President, Head of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - shared that this is both a joy and an honor, but also a responsibility that the Party has entrusted.
Comrade Thai Thu Xuong hopes to continue receiving the attention, leadership, direction, and facilitation of comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, the attention, coordination, and facilitation of comrades in the Party Delegation and the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; the encouragement, solidarity, sharing, joint efforts, and unanimity of party members in the Party Committee, to help him fulfill his assigned tasks.
Comrade Thai Thu Xuong vows to make every effort, focus on research, humbly learn, and work with the members of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to build a united collective, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the 2020-2025 term.
