On December 11, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a plan to implement the 20-day and night campaign to strive to complete the target of health insurance (HI), social insurance (SI) and unemployment insurance (UI) coverage in 2025 in the province.
According to the report of Dong Nai Social Insurance, by the end of November 2025, the health insurance coverage rate in the province will only reach 92% (the plan is 95%); the rate of working-age workers participating in social insurance will reach about 50% (the plan is 52%) and unemployment insurance will reach 44.3% (the plan is 46%).
In response to that reality, the campaign will be implemented from December 10 to 31, 2025 to mobilize the entire political system to participate, promote the development of participants and complete the 2025 target including: 95% of the population participating in health insurance; 52% of the workforce of all ages participating in social insurance; 46% participating in unemployment insurance.
The special campaign emphasizes reviewing enterprises that employ many workers, establishing working groups to mobilize compulsory social insurance; strengthening inspection and strictly handling acts of evasion of payment, fraud, and profiteering of funds.
