Synchronous coordination to accelerate the entire project
After the actual inspection of the project on July 9, Mr. Le Van Nghia - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requested the Construction Steering Committee and construction units to organize synchronous construction throughout the project, not deploying it in individual blocks.
According to the direction, units must focus manpower and equipment to accelerate progress in blocks A1 and A4 to overcome the slow construction situation. Construction site operation must ensure synchronization, creating connections between items to complete on schedule.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Ha Manh Cuong - Project Commander - said that the project progress is currently being controlled thanks to proactiveness in construction organization and site management. To date, the realized value has reached about 31% of the contract package volume.
Two blocks A2 and A3 have completed towing in June, creating conditions for deploying the next items. The remaining areas are being constructed according to plan, and at the same time adjusting the organization plan to meet the requirements of accelerating progress.

According to the construction unit, the implementation process still faces many difficulties when the prices of fuel, construction materials and labor all increased sharply compared to the time of signing the contract. The supply of sand, stone, and steel is also scarce due to many key projects being implemented together.
In addition to the requirement to accelerate progress, the Project Steering Committee is also urgently completing sample rooms, researching solutions to complete ceilings, walls and tiles, ensuring quality, aesthetics and functionality for apartments.
Safety, occupational hygiene and environmental sanitation work continue to be strictly implemented. The collection and treatment of construction waste is regularly inspected, maintaining the principle of "clean up to the point", ensuring the construction site is safe and tidy.
More than 250 workers accelerate according to plan
Also exchanging with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Thai Van Hung - Deputy Commander of the construction site - said that the Command Board quickly concretized the requirements by adjusting the construction organization plan, rearranging manpower and strengthening coordination between teams throughout the construction site.
According to Mr. Hung, instead of focusing on construction of each building as before, teams are now mobilized to work simultaneously in many areas. This organization method helps items to be deployed continuously, limiting waiting time between stages.
To maximize construction time, the Project Steering Committee arranges overtime, increases working hours appropriately, and allocates working time according to weather conditions. Machinery and equipment are also coordinated flexibly to improve construction efficiency.

The increased workload makes the demand for human resources increasing. Currently, the number of workers at the construction site has increased from about 150 to more than 250 people, meeting the requirements of simultaneously deploying many items according to the set schedule.
According to the Project Steering Committee, accelerating progress is always associated with the requirement to ensure quality, labor safety and technical standards. Construction units must not affect the quality of the project or the safety of workers due to progress pressure.
With the new operating plan, synchronous coordination between units and strengthened human resources, the Trade Union Social Housing project is gradually accelerating. The goal is to complete the commitments and soon meet the housing needs of union members and workers.
