The sacred value of the national flag and the Party flag
Every time the country welcomes important celebrations, many central streets in Da Nang are filled with red flags with yellow stars, adding a heroic atmosphere and arousing national pride.
In Hai Chau district, the People's Committee of Hoa Cuong Bac ward has just inaugurated the "Fatherland Flag Road, Party Flag" project on the 30/4 route. The project consists of 210 flagpole, with a total cost of more than 40 million VND.
According to Mr. Ho Van Tien (residing in Hoa Cuong Bac ward), the April 30 route has a special meaning because this is the Day of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and is also a road axis that clearly shows the urban development process of Da Nang. According to Mr. Tien, the flags flying brilliantly have contributed to making Hoa Cuong Bac look brighter, while enhancing national pride for everyone.
Mr. Truong Thanh Dung, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hai Chau District People's Committee, said that the "Fatherland Flag Road, Party Flag" initiative launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels has played an important role in educating and raising people's awareness of the sacred value of the Fatherland and Party flags. Mr. Dung emphasized that through such works, the community's patriotism is further fostered, while clearly demonstrating the awareness of joining hands to build urban landscape, promoting the movement "Cultural life, urban civilization".
Meanwhile, Man Thai Ward, Son Tra District has just put into use the "Fatherland Flag and Party Flag Road" on Tran Duy Chien and Truong Dinh streets.
Ms. Le Thi Hong Phan - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Man Thai Ward - said that Tran Duy Chien route (600m) attached 200 flag pillars, a total budget of VND 16 million, while the Truong Dinh route (500m) had 150 flag pillars, the cost of VND 12 million. All of this resource comes from the contribution of the people. Ms. Phan emphasized that this is the project "Italian Party - the people's heart", which is implemented according to the motto of mobilization. Thanks to the consensus and determination of officials and people, the project is completed on schedule, bringing an exciting atmosphere in the community.
Expand to residential areas
Mr. Bui Nguyen Tan Phong - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son Tra District, Da Nang City - informed that the district has quickly concretized the plan of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, mobilizing the construction of national flag and party flag routes on major holidays in 2025. Six wards of the district have implemented and maintained this model.
To keep the project in long-term use, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district has coordinated with people to clean up the roads and promptly repair the flagpole when there is an incident to ensure safety. On major holidays, Tet and important events, flags will be hung, creating an exciting atmosphere, contributing to connecting the community.
It is known that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has issued a plan to mobilize the people to build the "national flag road, party flag" in residential areas, towards the 95 -year milestones on the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (3.2.1930 - 3.2.2025) and the City Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - 28.3.2025), to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the City's Liberation Day (March 29, 1925 - 29.29.2025)
The operation is divided into 6 phases, suitable for important occasions such as the country's reunification day (30.4), International Labor (1.5), Party Congress at all levels, Quoc Khanh (2.9), and especially the XIV Congress of the Party. With the desire to join hands to add more beauty of urban culture and preserve the spirit of solidarity, the model of "national flag, party flag" in Da Nang is receiving high support from the community. Whenever the red flags of yellow stars, the party flag fluttered, the people were more proud of history, sticking to their homeland, and at the same time engraved the sense of responsibility to preserve the sacred values of the country.
