On August 23, the Rach Dua Ward Trade Union (HCMC) coordinated with the HCMC Labor Federation; the Workers' Counseling and Support Center and related units to organize a voluntary blood donation program in union members and workers with the theme "Sharing a drop of red blood" in 2026.
Taking place at the Rach Dua Ward Military Command, the program attracted a large number of union members and workers in Rach Dua ward and neighboring localities to voluntarily donate blood. Many people gathered very early to complete procedures and participate in blood donation.
According to the Rach Dua Ward Trade Union, the voluntary blood donation program has spread a meaningful message "Donate a drop of blood - Give life", spreading love and sharing among union members and workers. For many union members and workers, voluntary blood donation has become a familiar activity showing responsibility to society, in the spirit of voluntary participation.
After an urgent, responsible and enthusiastic working session, the program recorded about 500 turns of union members and workers registering to donate blood, thereby collecting nearly 400 units of blood, to promptly supplement the blood bank to serve emergency and treatment for patients.
