On March 26, the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) said that Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province - had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Provincial LĐLĐ on the situation of Trade Union activities and task orientations in the coming time.
According to the report, in 2025 and the first quarter of 2026, the Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation closely followed the actual situation of the locality, focusing on deploying the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities, achieving many outstanding results.
In which, the Provincial Labor Federation has focused on arranging the organizational structure in a streamlined direction, innovating operating methods in accordance with the new context; promoting propaganda and grasping the situation and ideological developments among union members and workers.
Patriotic emulation movements are implemented associated with major holidays, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere among union members and workers, contributing to helping agencies, units, and businesses successfully complete their tasks.
The Provincial Labor Federation also focuses on organizing activities to care for, promptly visit, encourage, and support union members and workers during the Lunar New Year, Workers' Month as well as during natural disasters.
With the achieved results, in 2025, Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong Trade Union organization.
At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong requested the Provincial Labor Federation to continue to closely follow the actual situation; on the basis of roles, functions, and tasks to concretize the contents, contributing to bringing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress to life.
The Provincial Labor Federation needs to firmly grasp the ideological situation and public opinion developments among union members and workers; promptly resolve petitions and problems; proactively participate in protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong also requested the Trade Union organization to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; closely coordinate with levels, sectors and business leaders to remove difficulties and create high unity in the establishment of Trade Union organizations at non-state-owned enterprises.
