Recruiting skilled and innovative workers
Thanks to the advantage of rich raw materials such as sugarcane, coffee, bananas, pepper, import-export enterprises in Gia Lai especially focus on investing in high-quality human resources.
To increase export value and increase profits, Gia Lai province is stepping up attracting deep processing projects in the agricultural sector. Therefore, in addition to the requirements for diligence and perseverance, businesses also expect a team of workers with skills, innovative and creative thinking.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ha - Chairman of the Trade Union of An Khe Road Factory, Gia Lai - said: "The company encourages workers to participate in the movement of innovation and technical innovation. Each initiative that is successfully applied to production will be rewarded with 2 million VND. On average, the company implements about 25-30 new initiatives per year.
Technical initiatives not only help businesses save on labor costs but also increase labor productivity.
Typically, Mr. Huynh Quoc Tuan - Head of the An Khe Road Factory Volleyball Team was honored by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the initiative "Installing a new automatic supply valve system for the Volleyball Area". This solution helps businesses significantly save costs on raw materials, electricity and reduce equipment wear and tear, bringing hundreds of millions of VND in benefits each year.
According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ha, when workers have in-depth qualifications and experience, they can optimize the production process, minimize errors and improve business efficiency.
Workers clearly understand customer tastes and needs
To achieve the double-digit economic growth target, Gia Lai is actively improving the quality of agricultural exports, while promoting the transfer of modern technology and equipment from foreign partners.
Mr. Nguyen Nam - the owner of a passion fruit export enterprise in Gia Lai - shared: "Having to work as unskilled workers is quite easy at a reasonable cost. However, finding specialized and skilled human resources to operate machinery and repair equipment is extremely difficult. Many times, we have had to hire foreign experts to take on this job".
In the context of a fiercely competitive export market with high requirements for quality and product diversity, human resources are the "blood" of businesses. A team of good workers not only helps businesses maintain operations but also creates sustainable competitive advantages.
Mr. Nam added: "Customer tastes are always changing, so businesses really need a team of workers who are capable of researching and innovating to create high-quality products to meet the increasingly strict needs of the market".
