Hanoi City Police informed that to ensure security, safety and smooth traffic to serve the protection of the International Group of Tourists, the City Police announce traffic diversion and organize directions for all types of vehicles, as follows:
From 10:30 to 22:00 on April 14, 2025 and from 08:00 to 15:30 on April 15, 2025, a temporary ban will be imposed on trucks with a cargo weight of 500kg or more, passenger cars, taxis (except for vehicles with protection badges, buses, environmental sanitation vehicles, vehicles to resolve and fix incidents; fixed-route passenger vehicles) and restrictions on cars and motorbikes operating in districts, Ba Dinh, Tay Ho, Dong Da, Cau Giay, Nam Tu Liem, Dong Anh, Soc Son and Me Linh districts.
Hanoi City Police organizes directions for vehicles subject to temporary ban and restrictions when participating in traffic through areas along the route, as follows:
(1) Vehicles from National Highway 5 to National Highway 1A, 1B (to go to the southern provinces) pass through Thanh Tri - Phap Van bridge - National Highway 1B. If crossing Vinh Tuy Bridge, follow Minh Khai route to Vong - Giai Phong - Do Muoi intersection or cross Vinh Tuy - Nguyen Khoi or Minh Khai bridge, Mai Dong bridge turn Tam Trinh - Do Muoi to National Highway 1A, 1B or Ring Road III and vice versa.
(2) Vehicles from National Highway 5 to the Northern provinces (Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen...) to National Highway 5 - Nguyen Van Linh - Ly Son - through Dong Tru - Truong Sa - Hoang Sa - Vo Van Kiet bridge - National Highway 2 or from National Highway 5 - Thanh Tri bridge approach road - through Phu Dong bridge - National Highway 3 approach road - National Highway 3 and to the provinces and vice versa.
(3) Vehicles from the southern provinces (Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam...) to the northern provinces (Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc...) travel along the Do Muoi - Ngoc Hoi - Phan Trong Tue route - Provincial Road 70 - Phung Hung - Xa La - Van Phu - Le Trong Tan - Provincial Road 70 - Nhon - National Highway 32 - Vinh Thinh bridge (or Trung Ha bridge) - to Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc... and vice versa (restricted to Ring Road III, Thang Long bridge, Vo Van Kiet...).
For other routes and vehicles comply with regulations on the operation of vehicles in Hanoi city.
Hanoi Police require all drivers of vehicles when participating in traffic to strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and the guidance and regulation of vehicle flow by the authorities; proactively choose the appropriate time and travel route.
When encountering priority vehicles that are giving priority signals to go on duty, they must quickly reduce speed, avoid, stop close to the right side of the road, and switch to the nearest level crossings and intersections to give way.
