On June 22, Long Dien Commune Trade Union (HCMC) said that it had just organized a supervision of food safety and hygiene in meals, ensuring the rights of union members and workers working at Chang Chun Vina Co., Ltd.
During the working process, the inspection team listened to business representatives report on the implementation of regulations on salary regimes, working hours and rest, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance; the implementation of collective labor agreements, internal labor regulations and welfare regimes for trade union members and employees at enterprises.
At the same time, focus on actual inspection of kitchen facilities, origin of food ingredients, processing processes, food preservation, food sample storage, hygiene work and compliance with food safety regulations when organizing lunch meals for workers.
Through supervision, the inspection team assessed that the enterprise basically well implemented the provisions of labor law; the collective kitchen was deployed to ensure food safety and hygiene regulations. However, the team also requested the enterprise to equip additional equipment related to ensuring food safety and hygiene. At the same time, it requested the enterprise to continue to pay more attention to working conditions, meal quality and the work of caring for workers' lives.
According to the Long Dien Commune Trade Union, the organization of inspection and supervision at enterprises aims to promote the representative role, care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; contributing to building a safe, healthy, harmonious and stable working environment at enterprises.
