On June 28, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had just coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross Society to organize the 1st Voluntary Blood Donation Day at trade union units in the eastern region of the province. This is an activity within the series of voluntary blood donation campaigns in 2026 launched by the Provincial Labor Federation.
From early morning, hundreds of trade union officials, union members and workers from Tuy Hoa Ward Trade Union, Dong Hoa Ward Trade Union and Tuy An Bac Commune Trade Union were fully present to register, check their health and participate in blood donation.
With close coordination between the Organizing Committee, volunteer forces and medical staff, blood reception work was deployed quickly, safely, in accordance with procedures and ensuring medical requirements.
At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee received 231 units of blood, including 44 units of 350ml blood and 187 units of 250ml blood. The amount of blood collected will contribute to supplementing blood sources for emergency and treatment at medical facilities, especially during the time when blood demand usually increases in the summer.
Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that not only contributing to solving the shortage of blood for treatment, the voluntary blood donation festival also creates a strong spread of the spirit of responsibility and sharing in the community.
The message "Each drop of blood given, one life left behind" continues to be responded to by officials, union members and workers with practical actions.
After the success of the blood donation campaign in the Eastern region, the Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union will continue to organize the 2nd blood donation campaign on July 10th in the central area, in order to continue to mobilize union members and workers to participate, contributing to supplementing a valuable blood source for the work of caring for and protecting people's health.
