On January 31, An Giang Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross Society and the grassroots trade union of CIC Group Joint Stock Company to organize the Tet Voluntary Blood Donation Day and Red Spring Festival 2026 program at CIC Group Joint Stock Company. The activity received positive response from union members and workers (NLĐ), thereby receiving 50 units of blood.
Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Han, a union member of CIC Group Joint Stock Company, shared: "I have participated in blood donation 16 times, each time I launch it, I respond to participate. I feel that my contribution is only a small part compared to the current need for blood to save people at hospitals. I really hope my participation will contribute to spreading the spirit of voluntary blood donation to more people, so that they can participate together to help patients overcome difficulties.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh - Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union of CIC Group Joint Stock Company, union members and employees of the Company are very actively participating in movement activities launched by the Trade Union organization. In which, voluntary blood donation is a very meaningful activity, so the grassroots trade union always maintains and promotes it more strongly.
Many union members have participated in blood donation many times and they continue to participate. Not only are they good at production labor, but union members and workers also understand and share, contributing their strength to the community through blood donation," Ms. Hanh shared.
According to the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation, previously, through 3 blood donation drives, the Provincial Labor Federation mobilized to receive 620 units of blood, contributing to supplementing blood sources for emergency and treatment of patients.
The activity continues to affirm the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for the community, spreading the spirit of mutual affection among union members and workers.
