Currently, at hospitals in An Giang province in particular and the whole country in general, there are many patients facing the boundary between life and death, who really need meaningful drops of blood to maintain life.
Understanding that, in recent years, the Trade Union levels of An Giang province have always been pioneers, considering voluntary blood donation not only as a responsibility, but also as a command from the heart of each union member and worker.
Mr. Le Chi Dung - Chairman of the grassroots trade union of Kien Hung Joint Stock Company said that he himself donated blood for the 4th time along with union members and company workers. In the launch of this Red Spring Festival, the grassroots trade union participated with 20 people.

And Mr. Pham Quoc Thinh - a union member working at Kien Giang Trading Joint Stock Company shared that this is the 7th time he has participated in blood donation.
At first, I was a bit nervous, but actually when I participated, I felt normal, after donating, I still did a good job tirelessly. In addition, I also participated in donating blood directly to the hospital when there was an emergency case that needed blood urgently. When I donated blood directly to help patients, I felt touched and very happy because I contributed to helping them overcome the critical condition.

The campaign to mobilize voluntary blood donation during Tet and the "Xuan Hong Festival" in 2026 in An Giang is implemented with the message "Blood donation at the beginning of spring - Multiplying happiness", taking place from January 15, 2026 to March 15, 2026, striving to mobilize over 9,800 people to register for blood donation and receive from 9,300 units of blood or more, in order to ensure a safe and stable blood source to serve emergency and treatment work for people before, during and after the Lunar New Year, and to prevent localized blood shortages.
