On March 15, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) said that it had coordinated with Task Force No. 5 for area management; Task Force for Trade Union Management of Industrial Park - Export Processing Zone; Nghia Thanh Commune Trade Union to organize a working delegation to visit, encourage, and provide support to union members who suffered serious accidents in the area.
Previously, at the end of January 2025, union member L.V. G (a worker at a business in Nghia Thanh commune) unfortunately had an accident on the way home from work, leading to multiple injuries, requiring treatment and unable to continue working. Because he is the main breadwinner in the family, the accident caused Mr. G's family to fall into difficulty.
At the visit, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation kindly shared and encouraged Mr. G to feel secure in treatment, soon overcome the difficult period, and stabilize his life. At the same time, they presented Mr. G and his family with a support gift worth 5 million VND.
Moved by the concern and support, Mr. G and his family also sent sincere thanks to the trade union organization for being close and helping in time when the family encountered an upheaval.
In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation also provided support to 2 union members T.T. T and D. T. L who are union members in difficult circumstances who were injured in accidents, suffering from dangerous diseases and are being treated, with a total amount of 15 million VND via bank transfer.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, visiting, encouraging, and providing support to union members who have accidents and serious illnesses and are being treated is a practical activity, with profound humanitarian significance, affirming the role of trade union organizations always accompanying and practically caring for the interests of union members and workers.
