On May 27, the grassroots trade union (CĐCS) of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Di An ward, Ho Chi Minh City) announced that it had just successfully organized the 2026 sports festival for employees working at the company.
Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet Nhung - Chairwoman of the company's grassroots trade union said that the company has 3 factories in Ho Chi Minh City and 1 factory in Vinh Long province with a total number of workers of 11,000 people. The grassroots trade union and the company always pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual life of employees.
Responding to Workers' Month 2026, the grassroots trade union organized the Yazaki 2026 Sports Festival. This activity attracted 1,160 union members and workers to participate in competitions in 3 sports including: football, rope jumping, tug of war.
As a result of the sports festival, DA workshop won the first prize in men's football, MP workshop won the first prize in women's football; MP workshop won the first prize in men's tug-of-war, Tra Vinh workshop won the first prize in women's tug-of-war; DA workshop won the first prize in men's jumping rope, Tra Vinh workshop won the first prize in women's jumping rope.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet Nhung, the sports festival brought joy to workers after working hours. Through this activity, the grassroots trade union wishes to practically care for the cultural and spiritual life of workers at the enterprise. At the same time, create space for workers to practice health, play, and strengthen solidarity in the enterprise.
In addition to the above activities, the grassroots trade union of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. regularly reviews and grasps the living conditions of workers and laborers. Workers facing difficulties will be actively supported by the grassroots trade union.
For cases of unfortunate serious illnesses, the grassroots trade union mobilizes the entire company to support, with an average support level of about 200 million VND/case. Currently, the grassroots trade union is mobilizing donations for 1 case of serious illness, expected to be awarded on May 31.
