On May 21 - 22, Vinh Tien Garment Joint Stock Company in coordination with VHCARE Medical Joint Stock Company organized periodic health check-ups for 1,555 workers and laborers working at the enterprise.
Among the total number of workers examined, there are 1,069 female workers and 486 male workers. Workers were given general health check-ups, clinical examinations, health care advice and screening for some common diseases.
Many workers said that this activity helps them feel more secure at work, while raising awareness of personal health care.
Worker Lam Cong Doan said that medical examination activities organized annually by the company help workers detect health problems early for timely treatment, limiting impacts on work and life.
Mr. Truong Cong Nhan - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Vinh Tien Garment Joint Stock Company - said that organizing health check-ups right at the company helps workers conveniently participate, without much impact on the working and production process.
Health care and periodic health check-ups for union members and employees are always of particular concern to the company's trade union. This is a practical activity to care for the lives and health of workers, contributing to helping workers feel secure in their work and be attached to the business for a long time," Mr. Nhan added.
