According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Employment Service Center, unemployment insurance is an important policy in the social security system.
Not only supporting workers when they lose their jobs but also consulting, introducing jobs, supporting vocational training, and improving skills to return to the labor market soon.
By the end of the second quarter of 2026, the whole province had 5,832 people resolved to receive unemployment benefits. Functional sectors have provided new job counseling and vocational training for 100% of workers receiving unemployment benefits. As a result, 222 people have found jobs and 197 people have received vocational training support.
Regarding the reasons for registering for unemployment benefits, terminating labor contracts/work contracts ahead of schedule accounts for the highest proportion, with 96.6%.
Next is the expiration of labor contracts/labor contracts 1.63%; enterprises and organizations dissolved, bankrupt, changed structure... 1.25%; employees disciplined and fired 0.26%; job loss due to other reasons 0.26%.
By qualifications, workers without degrees and certificates account for 60.27%; university and postgraduate degrees 21.3%; vocational colleges and professional colleges 11.18%; vocational secondary schools and professional high schools 6.64%; certificates and primary vocational certificates 0.62%.
Industry groups with many workers registered to receive unemployment benefits include processing and manufacturing industry 31.38%; passenger service activities 30.62%; accommodation and catering services 11.81%; agriculture, forestry and fishery 5.21%; education and training 4.08%.
