From January 31 to February 1, the 2nd Da Nang City Sports Festival for officials, civil servants, public employees, and laborers, 2026 will take place at Tien Son Sports Palace and Khoi Phat Pickleball court.
The sports festival was exciting with the participation of nearly 700 athletes from 20 agencies and units in the city.
This year's sports festival includes team and individual competitions. In which, 5 men's and 5 women's combined tug of war is organized enthusiastically; individual sports include badminton, table tennis, pickleball with many competition contents and Chinese chess for men and women in age groups under 45 and from 46 and above.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tao Viet Hai, Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that this is an event to build a healthy and useful playground, contributing to improving health, spiritual life, strengthening solidarity, exchange, and experience sharing between officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of agencies and units in the city.
