From October 14 to 16, at the Da Nang Center for Disease Control, the Da Nang City Labor Federation will implement a free screening program for cervical cancer and breast cancer for 180 female union members in especially difficult circumstances working at grassroots unions in industrial parks in the city.
The subjects participating in the examination are female union members in difficult circumstances, aged 21 - 60 years old (priority from 30 - 55 years old), not during pregnancy. Each examination cost 600,000 VND/person, including gynecological examination, breast examination and screening for cervical cancer - breast cancer.
The specific allocation list includes 10 units with a total of 180 people, including Branch 2 of An Giang TBS Joint Stock Company with the largest allocation (50 people), followed by Central Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company (30 people), D&N Food Processing Company Limited (20 people), Long Khai Joint Stock Company Branch in Da Nang (15 people), Branch of Monstarlab Vietnam Company Limited (15 people) and other units.
The program aims to contribute to taking care of the health and protecting the rights of female workers, especially those in difficult circumstances, helping them feel secure in their work and stay with the company for a long time.
The free screening program for cervical cancer and breast cancer for female union members in Da Nang not only demonstrates the practical concern of the union organization for the health of female workers but also spreads the spirit of sharing and humanity in the Da Nang working community.
Previously, at the end of July 2025, implementing the Coordination Plan No. 124/KHPH-LDLD-TTKSBT dated July 18, 2025 between the City Labor Federation and the City Center for Disease Control, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation also implemented a health check-up program for 900 female union members and workers in industrial parks in the area.
