Previously, during the two weekends (Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13), the Hai Chau District Labor Federation organized free health check-ups for 800 female union members and workers at affiliated grassroots unions.
Here, female union members and workers received health consultations, free liver and thyroid function tests and breast cancer screening from the medical team of MedlaTec Da Nang Co., Ltd., the unit that signed a cooperation agreement with the Hai Chau District Labor Federation in the "Welfare for Union Members" program.
This is a practical activity of the Hai Chau District Labor Federation on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20. Through health consultation and examination activities, female union members and workers in difficult circumstances have access to advanced and modern health care services, supporting and helping female union members and workers to have conditions to be screened and detect diseases early for timely treatment; thereby, demonstrating the role and responsibility of all levels, sectors, trade union organizations, agencies, units, and enterprises in caring for union members and workers in general and female union members and female workers in particular.
