On July 29, the People's Committee of My Phuoc Commune, Can Tho City, in coordination with the Can Tho City Labor Federation, held an inauguration ceremony for the National Flag Road project on route 82, from Phuoc An A Hamlet to Phuoc Thoi B Hamlet, with a total length of 13km.
Attending the ceremony were Ms. Tran Ngoc My, Vice President of the City Labor Federation and Chief of Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City; Mr. Vo Dang Khoa, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of the Inspection Committee of My Phuoc Commune Party Committee.
The National Flag Road project is implemented to improve the effectiveness of propaganda and education on patriotic traditions, arouse national pride, and encourage the spirit of solidarity among the people. The project has the support of 400 national flags from the Can Tho City Labor Federation and the contribution of local people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Ngoc Giang Nam, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, and Director of the My Phuoc Commune Administrative Service Center, emphasized: "This is a project of profound political significance, contributing to beautifying My Phuoc homeland more radiantly. The red flag with a yellow star is a sacred symbol, expressing patriotism and responsibility of each citizen towards the Fatherland.
Previously, My Phuoc commune conducted a survey, developed a plan to implement and complete the project on schedule. Local leaders pledged to continue to mobilize and promote the effectiveness of the project in conjunction with traditional propaganda and education activities and revolutionary action movements at the grassroots level.
The event is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day 2.9; the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and the 1st My Phuoc Commune Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, towards the Can Tho City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
