On May 4, the Vietnam Education Union (CĐGDVN) said that the CĐGDVN is expected to award the "Giải thưởng 22. 7 – Vietnam Education Union" (award) to 22 typical trade union officials on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Education Union (July 22).
According to the VGCL, the award is a noble award of the Executive Committee of the VGCL awarded to trade union officials at all levels in the education sector to recognize their efforts, dedication; creativity, innovation; breakthroughs that bring high efficiency in trade union activities, contributing to building a strong trade union organization.
The recipients of the award are trade union officials, former trade union officials at all levels who have been and are working in the education sector, with many achievements and contributions to building a strong trade union organization.
According to the VGCL, the award selection is carried out publicly, democratically, to the right subjects, ensuring the standards and conditions prescribed. The selected person must be an outstanding and typical trade union official, with initiatives and innovative and breakthrough solutions that bring high efficiency and have a spreading effect in trade union activities.
The VGCL said that the award is organized twice every 5 years and awarded on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Education Union. The awarded person is a typical trade union official who well complies with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, the Charter and regulations of the trade union organization; has good moral qualities, has prestige and positive influence, is a role model for union members and workers, is trusted and honored by officials, union members, and workers at work; has a high sense of responsibility in work, is proactive, active, creative, and has initiatives in trade union activities, and is applied and brings high efficiency at the unit.
For people who are currently trade union officials, to be honored, they must be trade union officials for at least 3 consecutive years up to the year of proposal for award consideration; including 2 consecutive years of trade union organizations directly directed by individuals classified as completing tasks well or better and at least once being commended by a higher-level trade union organization. In the 2 consecutive years up to the year of proposal for award consideration, individuals are evaluated by the agency or unit where they work as completing tasks well or better and at least once being commended by a trade union organization. Having topics, innovative, creative, and breakthrough initiatives that bring specific effectiveness in trade union work.
For former trade union officials: Having a continuous and long-term contribution process to trade union activities at all levels in the education sector. Having innovations and innovations, creating a unique mark; having a positive impact on the activities of the unit's trade union in a specific period.
