Brahmos Aerospace is also gradually expanding its market share in the global defense market with 2 export orders worth 420 million USD signed in 2025-2026.
In March this year, Indonesia announced that it had signed an agreement with India to purchase the BrahMos missile system.
In early April, India commissioned a warship capable of carrying BrahMos missiles into its navy fleet.
BrahMos, named after the two rivers Brahmaputra and Moscow, is one of the fastest supersonic cruise missiles in the world.
Initially with a maximum range of 290km, this missile was later upgraded to have a longer range, increasing strategic value and attracting higher attention from countries in the context of changing regional security dynamics.
