Initiatives from small ideas in daily work
Sharing with Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, Mr. Phap said that initiatives, technical improvements, and bringing technology into factories are not a story of big, distant ideas, but start from very closely observing each production stage, each small operation of workers on the production line to find points that can be improved.
I am always concerned about how to make workers increase absolute accuracy, increase labor productivity, make the work lighter, less tiring and safer in production. These things have always motivated me to find many solutions and automation support tools to replace manual labor to reduce heavy work for workers, increase absolute accuracy and improve labor productivity" - Mr. Phap said.

Ms. Pham Thi Hong Yen - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Intel Products Vietnam Company - said that in fact, in many foreign enterprises today, young engineers and workers have many outstanding advantages. They have the ability to quickly access new technologies, flexible thinking, high learning spirit and are ready to participate in the modernization and digital transformation process. In the working process, many young workers not only complete their professional tasks well but also proactively propose initiatives to improve processes and apply technology to improve productivity and work efficiency, helping workers have a better working environment, reduce hardship, and increase labor productivity. This shows that innovation does not necessarily have to start from large projects but can originate from small ideas in daily labor activities.
Ms. Yen also suggested that the State should have systematic policies to promote training and create a favorable environment for innovation. First of all, it is necessary to increase investment in digital skills, technology skills and creative thinking training programs for young workers. In addition, the formation of financial support funds for innovation initiatives of workers in enterprises is also an important solution, helping ideas have conditions to be implemented and developed.
The State also needs to continue to improve scholarship programs, support training to improve qualifications and encourage research and development activities for the workforce, helping workers have the opportunity to contribute better to the development of businesses and the country in the new era of the nation" - Ms. Yen said.
