On the morning of January 25, the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor organized 39 Union buses to take 1,619 workers home for Tet.
Attending the farewell ceremony for the workers were Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Standing Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Council; and leaders of departments and branches.
On the side of the trade union organization, there was Mr. Pham Trong Nhan - Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial Labor Federation, along with trade union officials at all levels.
At the ceremony to send workers back to their hometowns, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province - said that in recent years, Binh Duong province has focused on creating jobs and taking care of workers' lives. Since then, helping workers feel secure in their work and production, many have chosen Binh Duong as their second hometown.
According to Mr. Vo Van Minh, Binh Duong province will continue to mobilize social resources to invest in building more social housing areas in areas with a large number of workers. Increase investment in medical and educational facilities to ensure the best living conditions for workers.
Mr. Vo Van Minh highly appreciated the activities of the trade union organization in taking care of the lives of workers. During Tet, trade unions at all levels allocated 272 billion VND for many meaningful and practical activities, thereby helping union members and workers to have a full and happy Tet.
"I wish all the workers returning home to reunite with their families all the best and happiness in the new year. Have a happy and healthy Tet so that you can soon return to Binh Duong and return to your work in the new year 2025 with a new spirit and new victories" - Mr. Vo Van Minh expressed.
According to the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor, this year, in addition to the Union - Spring 2025 buses organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor to bring 2,000 workers in difficult circumstances back to their hometowns for Tet, many businesses also arranged buses and gave away bus tickets to bring more than 13,000 workers back to their hometowns for Tet.
