On March 13, the Hanoi Employment Service Center said that in February 2026, middle-aged workers (35-54 years old) looking for jobs accounted for 58.5% in the Capital.

According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, based on a survey, collecting information from 1,676 job seekers of the Center, it shows that the desired salary of workers is mainly from 5-10 million VND, accounting for 68.9%; from 10 - 20 million VND accounting for 27.4%, salary of more than 20 million VND accounting for 3%.

Notably, middle-aged workers (35-54 years old) looking for jobs accounted for 58.5%; from 25-34 years old accounted for 33%; 15-24 years old accounted for 6.2%.

Regarding the technical expertise of job seekers, it is mainly concentrated in the group that has not been trained, accounting for 36.5% (down 6.7% compared to the previous month), focusing on jobs such as cargo handling workers, garbage workers, sales staff, and delivery staff.

University degrees or higher account for 28.9%, showing the restructuring in the digital age, where professional positions are demanding innovation in skill sets.

The Hanoi Employment Service Center believes that the characteristics of job seekers in February 2026 show high compatibility with the recruitment trend of businesses after Tet. The dominance of the group of untrained workers and the common income expectation in the 5-10 million VND/month segment clearly reflect the psychology of taking advantage of looking for seasonal jobs such as production workers and office assistants.
