Immediately after receiving information about the case of a union member who was seriously injured and required surgery due to floods in Muong Pon commune, Dien Bien district, the leaders of the Labor Confederation of Dien Bien province directly visited, encouraged and gave gifts. Accordingly, the case of the injured union member was Ms. Lo Thi Lien - a trade union member of Muong Pon Commune Medical Station, belonging to the Communist Party of Dien Bien District Medical Center.
This morning (July 25), a sudden flash flood swept away many objects and assets of Ms. Lien's family. Because she was sleeping and could not manage in time, Ms. Lien injured her leg and had to have emergency surgery. Currently, her health condition is basically stable.
Previously, the Dien Bien District Labor Union and the Dien Bien District Medical Center Grassroots Union also organized visits and gave gifts to support and encourage Ms. Lo Thi Lien and her family to overcome difficulties and losses.
