Implementing the policy of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on expanding and developing grassroots trade union organizations in the grassroots political system, the Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor has organized working sessions with Party Committees of communes and wards in the area and announced the decision to establish trade unions in a number of new administrative units.
On August 4, the working group led by Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor, announced the Decision to establish Bao Thang Commune Trade Union and presented the decisions to appoint the provisional Executive Committee of the trade union.
This event marks an important step in the development of building a trade union organization at the grassroots level, contributing to improving the effectiveness of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers in Bao Thang commune.

Next, the Working Group continued to announce the Decision to establish the Sa Pa Ward Trade Union.
Here, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat acknowledged the attention and active coordination of local government committees in creating favorable conditions for the trade union organization to be formed and put into operation; at the same time, he suggested that the Sa Pa Ward Trade Union Executive Committee soon develop a specific work program, closely following the political tasks of the locality and the functions of the trade union organization.

The other working delegation led by Mr. Vu Cao Minh, Permanent Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor, attended the Conference to announce the Decision to establish Cam Duong Ward Trade Union, Lao Cai Ward Trade Union; announce the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee.
At the conference, Mr. Vu Cao Minh affirmed that the establishment of a trade union organization in Cam Duong ward is a step in line with the requirements of tasks in the new situation, contributing to enhancing the role of trade unions in the grassroots political system.

Through activities to announce the decision to establish grassroots trade unions, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor continues to affirm its core role in building an increasingly strong trade union organization, expanding the network of activities at commune and ward-level administrative units, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.

This is also an important premise for trade unions at all levels to continue to promote their representative role, protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, and actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality.
Previously, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor established 7 ward and commune unions including: Au Lau ward union; Yen Bai ward union; Nghia Lo ward union; Tran Yen commune union, Luc Yen union, Yen Binh commune union, Mau A commune union.
