From August 1, the Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation decided to establish 4 commune and ward unions.
Specifically, 4 newly established commune and ward trade unions include: Lao Cai Ward Trade Union, managing 71 grassroots trade unions and 3,529 union members; Cam Duong Ward Trade Union, managing 46 grassroots trade unions and 3,180 union members; Sa Pa Ward Trade Union, managing 32 grassroots trade unions and 2,636 union members; Bao Thang Commune Trade Union, managing 38 grassroots trade unions and 1,771 union members.
The above trade union organizations are commune and ward-level trade unions under the Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor, with legal status, registered and used stamps, and opened accounts at the State Treasury according to regulations.
Commune and ward trade unions are organized and operate according to the Trade Union Law, the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and related regulations.
The establishment of additional commune and ward trade unions contributes significantly to the work of consolidating and perfecting the trade union organization in the direction of streamlining and efficiency, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
