The flower arrangement class has the participation of nearly 50 female workers of Jasan Vietnam Co., Ltd. In her opening speech, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Huong - Director of the Viet Tiep Friendship Labor Cultural Palace said that this is a practical activity in response to the plan of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation on implementing cultural and sports models among workers, civil servants and laborers in 2025. Thereby, it shows the concern of the City Labor Federation for the spiritual life of workers, affirming the role of the Viet Tiep Friendship Labor Cultural Palace in bringing culture closer to workers in the city's industrial parks.
In October, Viet Tiep Palace coordinated with grassroots trade unions in the industrial park to organize a series of skills classes from flower arrangement, makeup, skin care, programming skills, event organization... Through the classes, the Organizing Committee hopes that workers, especially female workers, will have moments of relaxation, learn knowledge and skills to enhance their self-worth and be more confident in life.
At the class, under the enthusiastic guidance of artist Nguyen Thi Phuong Lien, students who are workers at Jasan Vietnam Co., Ltd. learned basic flower arrangement techniques, from flower processing to paying attention to the layout, color, and meaning of each flower. Workers are also allowed to practice flower arrangement according to the theme, creating their own works.
Participating in the skills class, Ms. Tran Kim Phuong - Human Resources Administration Director and Vice President of the Company's Trade Union shared that Jasan Vietnam Co., Ltd. has more than 70% of female workers, the need to participate in soft skills classes and life skills of women is very high. However, due to production conditions, workers have few opportunities to access these activities.
Coming to the class, the women were very interested, enthusiastically practicing flower arrangement as well as boldly interacting with related content. This is an extremely useful activity. After the class, the company's Trade Union will also research and organize similar activities and flower arrangement contests so that workers can apply the knowledge they have learned. In addition, the company hopes to access more skill classes organized by the City Labor Union, helping workers improve their spiritual life after work.
