Always uphold practicality, for the community
For 26 years, from 1998 to present, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh has been responsible for teaching, scientific research and transferring scientific and technical advances to production under the assignment of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh has many scientific research topics, published books, authored a number of international articles... It is easy to see that all of her works and topics are highly practical, the research results are transferred to practical production. She also organizes the development and implementation of the program: " applying outstanding technology to support farmers in developing livestock and aquaculture" by implementing circular livestock and aquaculture models in localities: Soc Son (Hanoi), Cam Giang (Hai Phong), Hoa Binh in 2022-2024 for outstanding efficiency, recognized by the locality and people, contributing to improving the value chain for livestock and aquaculture, having practical value for the community and ensuring livelihoods for farmers.
In particular, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh chaired the implementation of the provincial-level project in Hung Yen: "Evaluating the current environmental situation and applying biotechnology in the treatment of odors and solid waste at chicken farms in Hung Yen province", from March 2018 - February 2020.
This is the first study to go into depth to find the cause of the problem of foul odors in chicken farms by taking gas samples to analyze and applying biotechnology in odor treatment in livestock farms in some chicken farms in Hung Yen province. Complete technical measures for producing microorganic fertilizers from chicken manure treatment, use them reasonably to reduce pests and diseases, increase crop productivity and quality, and increase economic efficiency.
The project has selected deodorant biological products, as biological fillers in chicken farms and produced organic fertilizer from the treatment of chicken manure using biological products. The results of testing the epidemic-style Vnua- MiosV deodorant product at the two pilot farms showed that the air quality after spraying the product was significantly improved, especially the TVOC concentration, which is characteristic of the compounds that cause odor in the air, giving good results when handling over 95% of waste and barn odor. These are successful pilot models that have since been replicated throughout Hung Yen province and other localities.
During the period of 2020-2025, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh was awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2020, 2021, 2022 three times in a row; was awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development in 2021 for excellently completing tasks and initiatives that benefit the community.
Good women in many fields
At the Academy, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh is not only an example of teaching and scientific research but also actively participates in activities organized by the Faculty Union and the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture Union. She participates in leading a group of union members of the Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment, attends competitions organized annually by the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture Trade Union and always wins high prizes. That is the first prize in the cooking competition with the theme "Half of Love" on the 8th day of the 3rd day of the 3rd month; the first prize in the "Ccken package and Dish on the occasion of Tet 2020"; participated in the Department of Arts and won the first prize in the Department of Arts and Culture contest organized by the Academy Trade Union in 2019; participated in the flower arrangement competition on March 8, 2025 of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to win the Second Prize... Ms. Minh also always won the title of excellent union member at the Department of Environment Trade Union, now the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Vietnam Agricultural Academy.

- Confirming the economic efficiency of An Viet Export-Export Trading and Trading Joint Stock Company in 2021 in terms of profits from the application of biological products used to regenerate vegetable carpets and test-tube production towards commercialization is 3,972,500,000 VND.
- Confirming the economic efficiency of Vietnam Bacrobiological Joint Stock Company in 2021 in terms of profit from experimental production of biological products used to recycle vegetable carpets is 1,925,000,000 VND.
