The demand for human resources in the AI field increases, salaries are attractive

In 2025, the demand for recruiting personnel in the AI field is forecast to increase, and the salary of this group of workers is also very competitive.

High salary

Mr. Tran Van The, Director of Smart Kitchen Company Limited (Cau Giay, Hanoi) said that his company is in need of recruiting good personnel for AI training to "teach" the company's AI to become more and more perfect and smarter to better serve customers.

Mr. The's company specializes in selling imported household appliances and kitchens. In addition to traditional and popular items, the company also has many items that are not yet popular in the Vietnamese market such as household waste treatment machines, smart washing pots, etc. In addition to traditional customer service, Mr. The's company really needs AI support in customer consulting.

I want to improve my own customer experience and demonstrate the company's professionalism by training AI to answer all situations and questions from customers in a profound and in-depth manner. To do so, we must hire good personnel who know how to train AI so that our AI is better than the general level. I have surveyed many businesses, at this time I have found good experts/eningtors for AI training with a salary of thousands of dollars. To find a satisfactory person, the salary can be up to 2,500 USD," said Mr. The.

Mr. Ha Anh Tuan - CEO of Vinalink Media JSC. said that if you find AI training personnel to serve administrative and simple tasks, the salary is about 20 million VND/month, but for specific, professional jobs, the salary is usually according to the agreement and experienced people can be paid 40 - 50 million VND/month.

Workers need a clear strategy

Navigos Group conducted a survey with nearly 2,000 people (IT graduates and businesses in Vietnam) to report on the information technology industry in the artificial intelligence wave for the period 2024 - 2025.

Accordingly, backend/frontend programmers are the positions that businesses are expected to recruit the most (22.5%); product owners/products/project managers account for 15.7%; quality control engineers/quality assurance QC/QA and AI engineers account for 13.1%.

According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, AI-related human resources are often recruited by businesses themselves due to high requirements and security-related factors. However, the rate of AI-related human resource recruitment through the center has also begun to increase recently.

To improve skills and catch up with the AI wave, students and workers need to have a clearly oriented learning and application strategy. Learning does not stop at theory but requires regular practice, recommended a representative of the Hanoi Employment Service Center.

According to Mr. Tuan, the application of AI in the labor market and employment is divided into 4 main groups.

First, use AI to find good profils or automatically filter candidate data. AI can check online to see which candidates/employees have had "stains" or have factors that do not meet recruitment requirements.

Second is the type of application that automatically provides specific job descriptions.

Third is AI that automatically interviews me, not interviews anymore. Candidates will talk to bots, bots will interview themselves, and even be able to ask bots to candidates.

Fourth is a very good application that businesses are using the most, which is comparing "bots" and equivalent human resources.
