On the afternoon of June 22, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) Thai Thu Xuong visited, encouraged and directly presented 2 gifts to union members and workers suffering from dangerous diseases and in particularly difficult circumstances belonging to the Trade Union of Vietnam - Korea Ca Mau Vocational College and the Trade Union of Minh Hai Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company directly under the Trade Union of An Xuyen Ward, Ca Mau province.
Each gift includes 2 million VND in cash and necessities worth 500 thousand VND. These are gifts from a total of 176 gifts from the "Gifts from the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress" program allocated to the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation.
At the meeting, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Thai Thu Xuong cordially inquired about the health, life, and employment situation of union members and workers; encouraged union members and workers to overcome difficulties and feel secure in treating their illnesses. The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour affirmed that the Trade Union organization always cares for, accompanies, and cares for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, especially those in particularly difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses.
Although the gifts are not large, they show the feelings, responsibility and deep concern of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers in difficult circumstances. This is not only material support but also a source of spiritual encouragement, adding strength for workers to overcome illness, stabilize their lives, and feel secure in working and producing.
Union members and workers receiving gifts expressed their emotion and sent thanks to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Ca Mau Provincial Confederation of Labour and Trade Union levels for always caring, accompanying, and supporting workers in difficult times. The timely encouragement of the Trade Union organization is a source of motivation for workers to strive to overcome difficulties, feel secure in treating illnesses, and rise up in life.
