According to the Report of the Quang Ninh Confederation of Labor, currently the provincial trade unions manage over 129,400 union members, belonging to 18 direct upper-level unions at the grassroots level, and 2,236 grassroots trade unions. In addition, the Provincial Labor Confederation coordinates and directs 130 grassroots unions with 150,000 members of the Vietnam Coal and Minerals Trade Union, Central Industry Unions, and Corporation Trade Unions.
Over the past time, Quang Ninh Trade Union at all levels has proactively implemented democratic regulations at the grassroots level. Right from the beginning of the year, the Confederation of Labor assigned targets related to the implementation of democratic mechanisms at the grassroots level to the units.
