On August 28, Area Management Working Group No. 5 (Group 5) of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HCMC) said that the unit had organized a conference with the Dat Do Commune Labor Union to announce the decision on personnel work and launch the Commune Labor Union Executive Committee.
The conference announced the decision to establish the Dat Do Commune Trade Union under the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, and Vice Chairman of the Dat Do Commune Trade Union.
In which, Ms. Le Thi Kim Loan was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Commune Trade Union; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh was appointed to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Commune Trade Union along with 7 members of the Executive Committee.
Within no more than 12 months from the date of appointment, the Executive Committee of the Dat Do Commune Trade Union (including 9 comrades) must organize a congress to elect a new Executive Committee.
Ms. Pham Thu Huong - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - congratulated the Executive Committee of the Dat Do Commune Labor Union after its launch. At the same time, it is recommended that the Executive Committee of the Commune Trade Union quickly develop working regulations, assign specific tasks; implement a work program for the remaining months of 2025; promote the movement of good workers, creative workers; pay attention to developing union members, building strong grassroots trade union organizations; launch emulation movements at grassroots trade unions in the area.
