Production line automation
Describing the initiative "Improving automation of CDH74 and CDRH74 product production lines", Mr. Hai said, with product codes CDH74, CDRH74, the main steps are manual (winding wire, dipping tin). , visual inspection, leg bending, stamping, product transfer) should employ a lot of workers. As for the tin dipping process, workers have to work in a high-temperature and toxic environment. Even though there are safety tools, the possibility of occupational accidents is still assessed at a high level.
From this reality, Mr. Hai and his colleagues researched and analyzed the time, movements, and simple machine equipment currently in use. From there, we came up with the idea of automating manual operations by workers, improving inappropriate and inflexible machine structures. Along with that, design a circulatory circulation structure between machine operations, automating the compensation of auxiliary materials; Use conveyor belts and pick-and-place mechanisms to circulate equipment between stages...
From that idea, the tin dipping machine, foot bending machine and conveyor belt assembly were improved by the engineering team from the idea of rudimentary mechanisms and machines working independently into a cluster of machines that operate cyclically, improving speed. speed, performance and running quality. The machine is neatly designed, suitable for the production line area, suitable for current and future factory productivity, easy to adjust when converting codes and capable of upgrading if necessary. .
Stamping machines, product transfer machines and automatic equipment moving mechanisms are newly researched based on manual operations of workers. Product inspection cameras and optical sensors are researched and installed at important locations to help control product quality, investigate error history, display images and warn when the machine has problems. Conveyors circulate equipment between stages automatically, workers do not need to leave their work positions, reducing fatigue and distraction at work.
Affirming the intelligence of Vietnamese labor
After being applied, Mr. Hai's initiative brings high efficiency in productivity, product quality control and reduces fatigue for workers. This initiative was also approved as a machine design standard for improvement and automation projects applied to other product codes of the factory. Not to mention, the self-design and installation of automatic machines at the factory was recognized and satisfied by the group's senior management, and was introduced to other factories for reference, affirming the intelligence of Vietnamese workers. Male in the group.
The effectiveness of the initiative in reducing labor costs due to automation (reduction of 6 employees), to transfer excess labor to other lines; Increase labor productivity and reduce investment costs for purchasing machinery and equipment up to 1,656,405,000 VND/year.
The initiative also helped Mr. Nguyen Thai Hai receive the Creative Labor Certificate from the General Confederation of Labor for the first time. For Mr. Hai, this award is a "sweet fruit" after 5 years of working at Sumida Co., Ltd., contributing hundreds of big and small ideas and solutions with his colleagues. That is also a source of encouragement and motivation for him to continue to explore, create, and come up with many solutions and initiatives that contribute to the development of the business.
