Many workers face difficulties when taking passenger cars to return to work after the long Tet holiday.

On the morning of February 22, the fixed-route passenger drop-off point located at the foot of Thang Long bridge (Thien Loc commune, Hanoi City) was busier than usual. After celebrating Tet Nguyen Dan 2026, many workers and students from highland provinces took passenger cars to return to work.

He has 1 week of Tet holiday with his family in Phu Tho. On the morning of February 22, he took a passenger car to go to Thanh Hoa. "On normal days, I often take a bus straight to Thanh Hoa, but this time because of Tet holiday, the bus is crowded, so I have to take another trip, go down to Hanoi and then take another passenger car to go to Thanh Hoa," Mr. Truong said.

Mr. Truong works at a fresh concrete supply company, earning about 15-20 million VND/month. Every month he returns to his hometown to visit his family once.

Also having to stop in the middle to catch a bus to Thanh Hoa, but Ms. Y's family (anonymous) fell into a more difficult situation.

Ms. Y said that her family celebrated Tet in Yen Bai (her husband's hometown), then the whole family took a passenger car to Thanh Hoa. In addition to the 4 people in the family, there was also a motorbike with a lot of belongings, so it was very difficult to catch a passenger car. The couple and their two sons waited for an hour but still could not catch a car.

The passenger car has agreed to take me, but I don't understand why it hasn't appeared yet. Maybe it's because they picked up more passengers or traffic jams... I waited for almost an hour in the rain," Ms. Y said. The two children had to huddle in raincoats hanging on their motorbikes to avoid the rain...

According to reporters' records, many passenger cars are very crowded, even some cars have very high suitcases in the passenger compartment, or even motorbikes in the passenger compartment...
