The sports festival attracted more than 3,000 union members and workers to participate.
Attending the program were Ms. Tran Thi Hang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Ninh province; Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Tran Van Dang - Provincial Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union and business leaders.
This year's Sports Festival is organized on a large scale, including 9 sports and 29 competition contents such as: football, badminton, volleyball, tug of war, athletics, chess, e-sports (Esport)...
In which, football has 46 teams with nearly 900 athletes participating, which started from mid-April 2026. In particular, the Esport sport, which was put into competition for the first time, attracted nearly 1,000 athletes, creating a new highlight, in line with the trend of the young labor force.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Thach Van Chung acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactiveness and creativity of the Fuyu Company Trade Union in organizing a large-scale and methodical sports playground for union members and workers.
Mr. Thach Van Chung emphasized: "The sports festival is not only an opportunity to train health and improve the spiritual life of workers but also contributes to building a united, disciplined, and dynamic working environment in the enterprise. I propose that the company's trade union continue to promote its role, organize more practical activities, thereby comprehensively caring for union members and workers.
The Congress is also a practical activity in response to Workers' Month 2026, celebrating major holidays of the country and towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the competition contents will be deployed simultaneously at the company's sports area and linked competition fields. With careful preparation and a vibrant competitive spirit, the 2nd Fuyu Company Trade Union Sports Festival 2026 promises to create many imprints, contributing to spreading the movement of physical exercise and sports among workers.
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented 100 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the company. Each gift includes cash and in-kind gifts, contributing to timely encouragement and sharing with workers, especially during Workers' Month 2026.
