On the morning of December 21, at Da Nang High-Tech Park, the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones (DSEZA) coordinated with the City Labor Federation and Lao Dong Newspaper to successfully organize the DSEZA MARATHON 2025 Running Run.
The event attracted more than 800 athletes who are workers, laborers, and experts from all over the city to participate, creating a vibrant and emotional sports festival.
This is the second race organized, continuing to affirm its role as a healthy and useful playground, contributing to promoting the health training movement, while creating meaningful connections between workers, businesses and management agencies.
Speaking at the opening of the program, Mr. Vu Quang Hung - Head of the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones - sent a warm welcome to all athletes and emphasized the special significance of the event.
He shared: "Today, we meet on the track to connect energy, spread health and the spirit of sharing. DSEZA Marathon 2025 is not about achievements but about people, about a healthier, more active and connected community. Each run is a connection beat, each smile is a sharing".
Mr. Hung called on the athletes to run at all costs with a fair-play spirit and complete joy.
Ms. Ngo Thi Hue, a worker at the Grab Drivers' Union, shared: "This is a very necessary event for workers. It not only helps us relieve stress but also enhances cohesion within the company. I am very happy to have completed the race and hope that the race will be maintained annually".
At the end of the race, the Organizing Committee awarded 32 official prizes including: 2 First prizes for men and women (in 2 distances of 10km and 5km); 4 Second prizes; 6 Third prizes and 20 Encouragement prizes.
In which, the First prize includes 2.5 million VND and the championship trophy; the Second prize is 2 million VND and medals; the Third prize is 1.5 million VND and medals; the Encouragement prize is 1 million VND per prize.
In particular, in accordance with the spirit of "Joining hands to share", the Organizing Committee has presented meaningful gifts to workers in especially difficult circumstances. In addition, the event's lucky draw program with a special prize of a mountain bike has also found the luckiest owner.
